Yesterday I told my martial arts class that I had lost 2 pounds in a day, in which they said that my hard work was paying off but, the truth is I didn't really do that much.  After my morning workout I spent about 5 minutes online clearing my messages followed by doing a Devilish Training exercise.  How exactly I gain or lose weight is a mystery to even myself.  Some days I train super hard but, I gain weight, some days I don't do very much but, I lose weight.  Still I was challenged to write down how to do it which grabbed my interest so I will put it down here.  Note that these are mostly my thoughts and I can not guarantee that I have the perfect plan that works for everyone.

First we need to work out and in my fantasy there are over 150 different kinds of exercises and routines in this world, most of them are completely unknown to myself.  What works and what doesn't is varied between everyone and their goals and I can not vouch for everyone in the cosmos.  You can't expect a lightweight to throw a truck or a bodybuilder to do backflips.  You can always exercise but, there are some things that you can and can't do like, if you can't lift weights, do yoga.  Yoga is too boring, dance.  With all the crazy exercises out there, I have no doubt that there are even exercises that anyone can do sitting down and even when in bed with injuries.  Everyone can work out at any time, they just need to find the one that's right for them.

After some doing I found out a way to reach my own goal of near perfection, train the part of your body that you have done the least.  Doing the training is easy but, finding a way to keep track of what you need to work on is a challenge for the first person.  Some ways I found to keep a workout log is in the game Wii Fit U, it keep track of what parts of the body you trained on and which exercises you have done the most/least and I use a voice recorder to remind me of which routines I need to learn and do the one that I have done least often, rerecord when I am done and erase the old.

The subject of diet which is also taboo.  I have heard of vegetarian diets, vegan diets, seafood diets, even muffin diets.  I was told stories of which is better or worse but, the key is balance.  Some of the people I go to class with are vegan which is fine by me but, it does not work well for me and my mom does not like it.  If you plan to go vegan keep in mind that you need to have some kind of protein in your body because meet = protein = muscle.  People often hear of these special drinks and foods for pro-athletes and think that they will become that powerful by having that but, the truth is these foods were designed for athletes in mind and if "normal" people use them they are more likely to get fat than strong/fast.  In truth one of the best health drinks out there is water, if that is too boring for you, you can add a spoonful of  lemon juice, honey, apple cider, walnut oil or just about anything that would give it some flavor.  In my opinion the best kind of diet is to avoid artificial colors and flavors, as they can mess up your natural system which is not easy in the modern era.

You need to keep your mind sharp as well as a strong body.  Sure it is possible to have a ton of muscles but, what good are they if you don't know how to use them?  It is possible to have a super brain but, what good is it if you can't move more than an inch on your own.  People need to find ways to balance training the mind and body like practicing jogging while listening to books on tape (or mp3 in the modern era), stretching out while watching educational shows.

And finally keep training even after you meet your goals.  I have heard of stories in which after people achieve their "perfect body" they stop because they think can't get any better so they don't need to train anymore.  I have heard of one story of the high school football player that thought that after graduation he would give up on working out because he has the perfect body but, he died about a month or so afterwards because he failed to take care of himself.  As far as I can see, the only way to keep that kind of body without doing anything is to turn to stone forever, or flash freeze forever.  But nothing lasts forever.
